If you dont mind a small tangent (you usually dont)...Viburnum bodnantense &#39;Dawn&#39; famously smells lovely, but it actually also has a strong note of Frazzles, the 80s bacon flavour crisp. Once you&#39;ve had it pointed out, it&#39;s never quite the same. Sorry about that.

I got my Space Dust recently from a boot fair, (yes - it was fully packaged and in date). I know it mostly under the name Fizz Wizz - it has a wizard on the front and comes in Cola, cherry and strawberry flavours. You can usually find it with the pick and mix bits in some well equipped cornershops and supermarkets, and I&#39;m sure a web search will bring it up!

I made a cheesecake recently using strawberry space dust - I called it &#39;bonfire cheesecake&#39; and it featured a ginger nut base, a intermediate layer of spiced stewed apples with a sharp cream cheese topping. The space dust was in the base (a la Masterchef) to surprise the diners with a &#39;crackling fire&#39;. <br />One was nearly sick as a dust particle blew up and shot down their throat
